This policy explains what information Sourced PR collects, how we use it, and your rights. Sourced PR is operated by Benes the Menace and is a service of Attention Optimization.

1. Who we are

Sourced PR (sourcedpr.com) is operated by Peter Benes, trading as Benes the Menace, based in Ontario, Canada. Sourced PR is a service of Attention Optimization. For any privacy question, contact us at questions@sourcedpr.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

  • Information you give us directly, through the contact form: your name, business name, website, email address, and any message you send us.
  • Information collected automatically: basic analytics about how the site is used (via Google Analytics 4), cookies related to that analytics and to consent preferences, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps).

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your contact message and set up a call.
  • Provide, run, and improve the services you ask us for.
  • Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has a legal effect on you.

4. Cookies and consent

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. Where required by law (visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we run Google's Consent Mode: analytics cookies are off by default for those visitors until you actively choose "Allow analytics" in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is remembered on your device and can be changed at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. Visitors elsewhere are set to analytics-on by default, consistent with applicable law, and may decline non-essential cookies by not interacting with analytics-driving features; no advertising cookies are used anywhere on this site.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this site and respond to you:

  • Cloudflare (hosting, security, and the database and file storage behind this site).
  • Google Analytics (site usage analytics).

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

6. Retention

We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records, and delete or anonymize them when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

7. Your rights (PIPEDA)

As a Canadian business, we handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Withdraw consent to our use of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.

8. International visitors

This site is operated from Canada. If you are visiting from the EEA, UK, or elsewhere outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada and by service providers (Cloudflare, Google) that operate infrastructure in other countries. We rely on those providers' own safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

9. Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Effective date: July 26, 2026.
